Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for Marisco Lounge. You will support the General Manager, lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure guests leave happy. The role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option) with a competitive salary, bonus, overtime, and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés or similar hospitality settings.
• Proven ability to lead a team during busy service periods.
• Strong guest relations and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts (opening/closing, weekends) and delegate tasks to your team.
• Provide feedback to team to foster a positive work culture.
• Manage rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs to support the General Manager.
• Handle guest complaints with good judgement and maintain standards.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
• Represent Loungers as a welcoming on-floor host.
