Job summary

Loungers’ Estero Lounge in Wales is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, lead the team and ensure guests leave happy.

You’ll run shifts, coach staff, manage rotas and KPIs, handle guest issues, and help recruit new starters while promoting a warm, welcoming lounge atmosphere.

With a 48-hour contract (40-hour option) and a competitive package including bonus, overtime, and staff discounts, this is a solid next step for hospitality professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality as Supervisor/Assistant Manager or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shifts including opening/closing and weekends.
• Coach team with regular feedback to create a positive work environment.
• Manage rotas, labour and KPIs and support the General Manager to improve performance.
• Handle customer complaints confidently while maintaining allergen and food safety standards.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters and help them succeed from day one.
• Be an on-floor host and help build the Lounges reputation in the local community.
