Zizzi in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the floor, manage shifts, and keep food and service standards high during busy periods. This hands-on leadership role partners closely with the General Manager to drive guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

Experience as Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or Shift Leader in a high-volume restaurant.
Ability to coach teams to deliver standout hospitality.
Obsessed with maintaining high brand standards.
Proven track record of driving business results and KPIs.
Results-focused mindset with a passion for guest experience.

Responsibilities

Step up as the manager in charge in the GM’s absence, running seamless shifts and bringing our brand values to life.
Live and breathe the customer journey, coaching your front of house team to deliver standout, "feel-good" hospitality every day.
Support team development by giving constructive feedback, building confidence, and keeping team spirit high.
Take full ownership of the restaurant's "curb appeal", keeping standards and safety spot on.
Work with the GM to monitor performance, manage the financials, and track service metrics to be "better than yesterday".
