TC Group in Great Yarmouth is seeking an Assistant Manager to deliver accounting, tax and advisory services for a varied client portfolio. You will review accounts, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff and work with Managers and Partners to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

The role is hybrid, 37.5 hours per week, with 25 days of annual leave and strong development opportunities. You’ll join a growing Top 20 accountancy firm committed to client service and colleague growth.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ICAEW qualified or finalist
• 5 years of in-practice experience
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Commitment to delivering excellent client service

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts for owner-managed businesses (OMBs).
• Prepare and review tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
• Complete and review VAT returns and MTD ITSA submissions.
• Help build and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Support Managers and Associates with client work.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
