Job summary

TC Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Great Yarmouth to support accounting, tax and advisory services for a varied client portfolio. You will review accounts, manage client relationships, mentor juniors and ensure timely delivery in collaboration with Managers and Partners.

The ideal candidate has ACCA/ICAEW finalist status, 5 years in practice, and experience with Xero/QuickBooks. Hybrid working, competitive benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ICAEW qualified or finalist.
• 5 years in practice experience.
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Iris experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts for owner-managed businesses.
• Prepare and review tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
• Complete and review VAT returns and MTD ITSA submissions.
• Build and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Support Managers and Associates with client work.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Maintain CPD and keep knowledge up to date.
• Assist clients with ad hoc queries and ongoing support.
