Job summary

Humble Grape Canary Wharf is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team and help deliver the exceptional guest experience we're known for. This role offers a clear development path toward AGM and beyond, with mentorship from an experienced GM and exposure to high-quality daily operations.

You'll support the General Manager in running smooth operations, lead the floor during service, and champion our standards for wine and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in a quality-focused venue.
• Natural leader who leads by example.
• Passion for hospitality, wine, and guest moments.
• Ambition to grow and put in the work.
• Strong operational awareness and composure under pressure.
• Interest in wine; WSET is a bonus.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily operations.
• Lead the floor during service.
• Champion Humble Grape's standards for wine, food, and guest experience.
• Coach and develop the team, setting the tone for culture and professionalism.
• Exposure to P&L, team scheduling, and site performance.
• Drive commercial results without compromising guest experience.
• Be a consistent, trusted presence for your team.
