Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is recruiting an Assistant Manager for The Black Swan Inn in Helmsley. You will help the General Manager run daily operations and lead a team to deliver our warm, high-standard hospitality, ensuring a home-from-home experience for guests.

You will work hands-on in a busy pub-with-rooms environment, coordinating with chefs, management, and suppliers to maintain smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in daily operations.
• Leads and motivates a team to meet company standards.
• Ensures a welcoming and efficient environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily duties and manage the Inn’s day-to-day operations.
• Lead a team to deliver company standards and foster a positive atmosphere.
• Handle stocktakes, ordering, and accounts management.
• Be available for occasional sleepovers and guest responses.
