Job summary

Searchandselect assists a client in Isle of Man seeking an Assistant Manager for High & Medium Impact Supervision. The role focuses on supervising a portfolio of high and medium impact firms across regulated sectors, following a risk-based supervisory methodology.

Responsibilities include delivering supervisory activity, supporting the HMI Supervision team, and coordinating with Enhanced Supervision and other divisions while maintaining systems and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Holds or is working towards a professional qualification in financial services.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Experience in finance sector roles (operational, compliance, assurance, risk or audit).
• Working knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising a portfolio of high and medium impact firms.
• Support the HMI Supervision team with deliverables.
• Assist the Enhanced Supervision team and other divisions.
• Contribute to risk-based supervisory methodology and processes.
• Prepare risk assessments for regulated entities in HMI supervision.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare papers and reports for the Board.
• Support management on breaches of regulatory requirements.
