Fuller’s Hampshire Hog is hiring an Assistant Manager (Bar Manager) to lead daily bar operations in a warm, award-winning pub environment. You will oversee line cleaning, stock checks, stock rotation, weekly ordering, and cellar management while upholding food safety standards and delivering engaging guest experiences.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced setting, coach a team, and contribute to continuous growth through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Line cleans: take ownership of weekly line cleaning, ensuring beer/dispense lines are cleaned weekly.
• Stock take: complete monthly stock take and weekly line checks, record and reconcile variances.
• Stock rotation: maintain rotation to minimise waste and ensure quality.
• Weekly ordering: manage weekly bar orders balancing stock levels and events.
• Cellar management: keep cellar organised, clean, and well maintained.
• Standards and compliance: meet company standards and food safety requirements.

What we
look for in an Assistant Manager (Bar Manager):

• Line cleans : Take ownership of weekly line cleaning, ensuring all beer and dispense lines are cleaned consistently weekly.
  Stock take : Complete monthly stock take as well as a weekly stock line check ensuring all bar stock is correctly counted, recorded, and reconciled, while identifying any variances.
• Stock rotation : Maintain excellent stock rotation, minimising waste and ensuring product quality.
• Weekly ordering : Manage weekly bar orders accurately, balancing stock levels, and upcoming events.
• Cellar Management : Keep the cellar organised, clean, and well maintained.
