Job summary

TC Group in Croydon is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager. The role is client-facing, with responsibility for planning audits, mentoring staff and managing a portfolio of SME clients.

We offer a flexible, hybrid working pattern (1 day per week in the office) and a competitive salary; ACA/ACCA qualifications and 5 years audit practice experience are preferred to help you deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in practice.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and company law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting and scheduling of audits.
• Ensure audits are completed within deadlines and budget.
• Review working papers, testing and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients.
