Brewhouse & Kitchen in City of London is looking for an Assistant Manager who will drive operational standards and champion our food and drink offer. You will lead shifts, including opening and closing the pub, and help recruit, train and coach the team while promoting our internal progression path.

You will also manage health & safety and have a keen eye for growing sales, all within a 40-hour week that supports work-life balance and a people-first culture.

Role Purpose

Our Assistant Managers are a hugely important part of our leadership structure and with our reputation of promoting internally, there are clear lines of progression for those who wish to develop to General Manager. You will be passionate about great food, drinks (particularly cocktails and craft beer) and service, have a keen eye for detail, and have an understanding of how to encourage and coach to get the best out of your team. We value your work/life balance, therefore all of our Assistant Managers are contracted to work 40 hours per week.

You will be the driver of our operational standards. You will champion product knowledge and training across both our food and beverage offer and above all else be ready to learn and develop yourself along with the support of our senior team.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be leading shifts, this will include opening & closing the pub, helping with recruitment, training & coaching of the team, managing health & safety and have a keen eye for growing sales!
