Job summary

Brewhouse & Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, develop the team and uphold our high standards across food and drinks. You will champion the Brewhouse & Kitchen Way and drive exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant Brewpub environment.

You will be responsible for opening and closing the Brewpub, coaching team members, and helping to grow sales while ensuring safety and quality at all times. This role offers a strong path for internal progression.

• Lead shifts and manage front-of-house operations.
• Open and close the Brewpub as part of your duties.
• Assist with recruitment, training and coaching of the team.
• Oversee health & safety of the Brewpub and maintain standards.
• Work to grow sales and deliver excellent guest experience.

Job description

Role Purpose

Our Assistant Managers are a hugely important part of the leadership structure in our Brewpubs and with our reputation of promoting internally, there are clear lines of progression for those who wish to develop to General Manager. You will be passionate about great food, drinks (particularly craft beer) and service, have a keen eye for detail, and have an understanding of how to encourage and coach to get the best out of your team. We value your work/life balance, therefore all of our Assistant Managers are contracted to work 40 hours per week (Full time equivalent).

You will be the driver of the B&K Way, our own operational standards. You will champion product knowledge and training across both our food and beverage offer and above all else be ready to learn and develop yourself along with the support of our senior team.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be leading shifts, this will include opening & closing the Brewpub, helping with recruitment, training & coaching of the team, managing health & safety of the Brewpub and have a keen eye for growing sales!
