Job summary

Ye Olde Greene Manne, part of Mitchells & Butler PLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations. You’ll lead a team, ensure guest satisfaction, and act as Duty Manager when needed.

This role emphasizes training, development, and delivering great food and service, with a welcoming pub atmosphere in Vintage Inns. Successful candidates will be passionate, reliable, and ready to contribute to a busy, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing day-to-day pub operations.
• Ability to train and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.
• Mentor staff to develop their potential.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
