The Port Gaverne is a charming pub with 17th-century exteriors, welcoming interiors, and 15 beautifully designed rooms, located in the picturesque Port Isaac, a setting famous for its iconic views and as a backdrop for a popular TV series. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a stunning environment, leading a passionate team and supporting the General Manager.

About You:

• Act as the acting manager in the absence of the General Manager, motivating the team and ensuring smooth operations.
• Create a warm welcome for guests, ensuring memorable experiences.
• Monitor customer feedback and maintain high service standards.
• Support the team during peak times, including Front and Back of House staff.
• Oversee quality food production and collaborate with the Kitchen Team.
• Apply your experience to support team members and recognize their needs.
• Manage admin and cash systems responsibly when the General Manager is away.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Act as an inspiring role model and support team development.
• Pursue personal development with the goal of becoming a General Manager.
