Mitchells & Butlers PLC is recruiting an Assistant Manager for The Cuckoo, Vintage Inns. You will assist the General Manager, lead the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, driving service standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in a cosy rural pub setting.

You’ll be part of the Inn crowd with strong opportunities for progression, team incentives, and a supportive work environment that values every team member.

• Strong communication to train and inspire the team.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
