Job summary

Supply Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager to support the delivery of day services for adults with learning disabilities, older adults and physical disabilities in Solihull. This temporary position is office-based with full-time hours (Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00) and a competitive hourly rate.

You will deputise for the Service Manager, supervise day service coordinators, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care while meeting council standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working within Adult Social Care services.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Adult Workforce.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Service Manager in the operational management of day services.
• Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services for adults with Learning Disabilities, Older Adults, and Physical Disabilities.
• Supervise and support a team of Day Service Coordinators.
• Oversee the leadership and management of Support Workers and service delivery.
• Ensure services meet individual needs, goals, and outcomes for service users.
• Assist in developing and promoting the service.
• Monitor and improve service quality through audits and quality assurance processes.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with council standards and policies.

Hours: Full time (Mon-Fri - 09.00 - 17.00 with a 30-minute unpaid break each day)
