Job summary

Caffè Nero in Marlborough is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the store and lead a team to deliver exceptional service. You will coach staff, manage shifts, and ensure high standards of coffee, accuracy and customer care.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Our Assistant Managers are second in command and are vital for the smooth running of the store, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Support the Store Manager with training, coaching and managing their team to drive standards and performance.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special! From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Lead by example and provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!
