Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for The White Horse venue. You'll support the General Manager in daily operations, lead service standards, and inspire your team to deliver memorable hospitality experiences.

You’ll role-model excellence, train staff, and drive a guest-centric culture that keeps guests returning. The role offers full-time hours, development opportunities, and employee benefits within a vibrant community pub group.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business as Duty Manager when required.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to be proud of.
• Lead by example and guide development within the team.
• Motivate staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience and foster loyalty.

Job description

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back. As Assistant Manager at the White Horse, you’ll bring your experience to the table, supporting the General Manager in leading your team to success. Through your passion and drive you will motivate your team to deliver excellent guest experience, mentoring each individual to be the best that they can be!
