Assistant Manager - Lounge

Lounges are special places, thanks to the brilliant people who run them. As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in maintaining that brilliance across the team, delivering 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves happy. You will assist in the daily operations of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback. Your standards will be high, but your approach will be unique—you'll do it your way. Brilliant!

Key responsibilities include driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintaining high standards. You aim for your Lounge to be the go-to spot for the local community. This role is challenging but rewarding if you’re confident and proactive.

What you'll bring

• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in restaurants, bars, cafés, or coffee shops
• Experience working in a bar environment with food and drink preparation
• A passion for hospitality and talent for managing and spotting talent
• Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges
• Strong literacy and attention to detail for reporting KPIs
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust
• Self-motivated, able to work at pace with limited supervision under pressure
• Knowledge of sales building, forecasting, reporting, recruitment, HR, and NPS best practices
