We're on a mission to become the best-loved toyshop, and we want you to join us as our Assistant Manager in Ilford, Redbridge, Greater London, United Kingdom on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you'll support your Store Manager and help manage the local Tesco concession.

As our Assistant Manager, you will receive a salary of £29,100 per annum and enjoy a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager and acting as a brand ambassador, especially during visits to Tesco concessions.
• Delivering excellent customer service with strong product knowledge.
• Implementing promotional activities and maintaining merchandising standards.
• Developing and coaching your team to achieve sales targets.
• Building external relationships to promote the store and drive sales.

What We're Looking For

A positive, people-focused individual with a passion for our brand and products. You should be:

• Able to manage and lead the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, especially at Tesco concessions.
• Tech-savvy and confident with new technology.
• Resilient, adaptable, and capable of executing operational activities under pressure.
• A strong leader with excellent people skills, capable of motivating your team.

Ideally, you are currently in a role such as Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Sales Manager, or Department Manager within a customer-focused retail environment, seeking a new challenge.
