Job summary

Caffè Nero in Guildford is seeking an Assistant Manager to be second in command, supporting the Store Manager, coaching the team and driving service standards.

You’ll lead by example, deliver great coffee and personalised service, help keep the store clean and safe, and seize opportunities to grow through training and progression paths. Starter rate £12.91/hr, rising to £13.06/hr with service.

Qualifications

• Support the Store Manager with training, coaching and managing their team to drive standards and performance.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special! From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Lead by example and provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!
