Urban Pubs & Bars Ltd. is recruiting an Assistant Manager for a landmark venue in London. The role focuses on supporting the General Manager, driving guest satisfaction, and leading a team in a busy, hospitality-led environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year' experience as a manager, depending on property
• Strong communication and organisational skills

The Fire Station is an iconic pub and restaurant at the heart of Waterloo. Following a major refurbishment, we've created a vibrant space serving great food from lunch through to dinner, alongside classic cocktails and exceptional customer experiences. Located steps from Waterloo Station and The Old Vic Theatre, we're a bustling venue that welcomes commuters, theatre guests, sports fans, and after-work drinkers. Serving tasty home-made pizza and hearty English classic dishes, this is the perfect venue if you're passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

The Role

• As Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business.
• Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial understanding.
• Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
• This role would also suit an aspiring Supervisor looking for their first Assistant Manager position as youwill be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
