Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the retail team and overseeing daily operations. This role combines leadership, customer service and operational management to keep the store running smoothly and hitting targets.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership experience in retail, strong communication skills and the ability to drive KPI performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPIs and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and solid organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.

About the role:
