Job summary

Rhodium Consulting is recruiting for an Assistant Branch Manager for our client based in Coventry, Warwickshire. You will be working for an established electrical wholesale business with plans for further growth.

This role would ideally suit a candidate with electrical wholesale experience who is looking for the next step in their career. The role involves stock control, customer service, quotations, and leading the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale industry.
• Ability to lead a branch team and manage daily operations.
• Willingness to undertake occasional customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the branch purchase plan and ensure stock availability.
• Serve on the trade counter and respond to calls and emails.
• Make outbound calls to generate business.
• Create quotations for customers.
• Support stores assistants and van driver in daily duties.
• Lead and motivate the team and oversee daily van routes.
• Assist Branch Manager and support internal sales operations.

Salary - up to circa £33,000-£40,000 negotiable + bonus

The role

• Being part of the branch purchase plan, making sure we have the correct products in stock and all customer back orders are fulfilled
• Serving on the trade counter, answering phone calls and email enquiries
• Making proactive outbound calls to generate business
• Creating quotations for customers
• Supporting the stores assistants and van driver in their daily duties
• Full UK driving licence required, with the flexibility to undertake customer deliveries when needed.
• Lead and motivate the team, oversee the planning and allocation of daily van routes, and support internal sales operations to ensure exceptional customer service and branch efficiency.
• Supporting the Branch Manager within the business
