Assistant Manager, McLarens On The Corner, Edinburgh

Full Time, Permanent Position, 45-Hours PW
Base Salary of£33,000 + Tronc (Circa £3.00)

Housed in a stunning former bank, our bar and restaurant offer a welcoming space where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, crafted with fresh Scottish produce.

We’re more than just a place to eat and drink—we’re a hub for the community. From live sports screenings and quiz nights to wine dinners and live music, McLarens is a lively, social venue. We also host private events, offering tailored experiences for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions.
As part of our team, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, friendly environment where customer experience is key. Whether front of house, behind the bar, or in the kitchen, you’ll help create memorable moments for our guests.

• Customer Service Excellence – Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by handling queries, resolving complaints, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Supporting Daily Operations – Assist the Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Team Supervision & Development – Support in training, and managing staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Stock & Resource Management – Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure the business has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
• Compliance & Health & Safety – Ensure the team adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards at all times.
