Job summary

Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd in Barnet is seeking an Assistant Manager for The Duke of York in Barnet. You will help run busy services, lead the front-of-house team and help plan events, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality supervisory experience, a passion for great food and drink, and a willingness to contribute to a vibrant pub culture with scope for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role in pubs/restaurants preferred.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running daily pub operations and service levels.
• Train and lead bar/waiting team during busy services and events.
• Decide beers, gins and wines on tap and plan events.

About You...

As Assistant Manager you'll be at the heart of our management team helping to ensure the smooth running of our busy pub. You'll be welcoming and looking after customers, helping to train and lead our lovely bar/waiting team, managing busy services and running special events. You'll also be involved in deciding what beers to have on tap, which gins and wines we serve and what events to run.
