Job summary

Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd in Buckland is seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager for The Pheasant at Buckland to lead a busy hospitality team and deliver great guest experiences.

You’ll train bar and waiting staff, manage service, plan events, decide drinks on tap and drive daily operations while enjoying benefits and career progression within our pub family.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role.
• Ability to lead and train front-of-house teams.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and look after customers in a busy pub environment.
• Train and lead bar and waiting teams to deliver high service standards.
• Manage busy service periods and run special events.
• Decide beers to have on tap, as well as gins and wines to serve.
• Plan and execute events to drive engagement and revenue.

About You...

As Assistant Manager you'll be at the heart of our management team helping to ensure the smooth running of our busy pub. You'll be welcoming and looking after customers, helping to train and lead our lovely bar/waiting team, managing busy services and running special events. You'll also be involved in deciding what beers to have on tap, which gins and wines we serve and what events to run.
