Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC, through Miller & Carter in Southampton, seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will mentor team members, train staff, and model leadership to ensure service excellence across food, drink, and hospitality.

The role emphasizes development, teamwork, and delivering WOW moments that bring guests back. A strong hospitality background and a passion for leading people are key assets for success.

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
