Job summary

Marston’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our lively pub team in the UK. You’ll step up in the General Manager’s absence, lead from the front and create memorable guest experiences that keep people coming back.

We’re looking for someone with prior Assistant/Deputy Manager experience in a like-for-like branded environment, who can support financial and KPI delivery and inspire the team on every shift. A flexible, part‑time option may be available.

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant/Deputy Manager experience in a similar branded environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pub team on each shift to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPIs.
• Deputise for the GM to ensure smooth pub operation.
• Drive engagement and motivation across the team on every shift.
• Uphold brand standards and guest service excellence.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you’ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivateyour pub team on every shift
• Be passionateabout doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
