Job summary

Specsavers in Shirley is seeking an Assistant Manager who leads by example and champions a customer-first mindset. You’ll help keep the store and team running smoothly while growing your leadership and retail skills within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

You’ll join a friendly team at Parkgate Shopping Centre, with benefits including pension, probation bonus, full-time 39 hours, and wellbeing support through WeCare and Headspace.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience is essential.

Our store

Located in the popular Parkgate Shopping Centre in Shirley, the Specsavers store enjoys a busy and convenient location with a wide range of shops, cafés and local amenities nearby. The store is easily accessible by both car and public transport, with regular bus services operating along Stratford Road and Shirley Railway Station just a short distance away, offering connections to Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The store features two test rooms and provides both optical and audiology services, creating a professional and customer-focused environment where colleagues can develop their skills while helping customers with their eye and hearing care needs. As part of a supportive and fast-paced team, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent service and making a real difference to customers every day.
