Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager at a Not For Profit Organisation in Aylesbury

An exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Manager to bring their expertise to a Not For Profit organisation in Aylesbury. This role involves being a flexible member of the management team, ensuring effective coordination of services within the location.

Client Details

My client, based in Aylesbury, is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to join their supportive and close-knit working environment. They are a reputable and highly respected Not For Profit organisation, leading in their field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate professional leadership by providing hands-on management support and guidance, managing staff activities, and influencing practices and attitudes.
  2. Assist the Service / Area Manager in setting and monitoring budgets, including capital and revenue for each area within the location.
  3. Participate in the on-call rota.
  4. Assume line management responsibility for a group of staff, which may include Team Leaders, as directed by the line manager.
  5. Meet regularly with local authority representatives, staff, clinicians, families, and other stakeholders.
  6. Ensure effective management of the location's resources, including staff expenditure.
  7. Support the organisation with staff rotas, ensuring contractual and personal objectives are met.
  8. Ensure all staff receive supervision and personal development reviews to promote learning, in line with organisational policies.
  9. Manage and participate in Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, and Human Resources audits.
  10. Oversee environments, vehicles, and equipment within the location, ensuring they are fit for purpose and maintained to safety standards, including delegation where necessary.
  11. Perform any other duties within the general scope of the post as directed by the Area Manager.
