Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC, Firecrest, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and lead the team to deliver outstanding hospitality. You will mentor staff, uphold brand standards and ensure an exceptional guest experience across all shifts.

You will role-model development within the team, drive guest satisfaction and work with the GM to optimise service, efficiency and team morale in a welcoming rural pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to train, coach and motivate staff.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver excellent food, drink and service.
• Act as Duty Manager when the GM is unavailable.
• Lead the team to create memorable guest experiences.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU'LL

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
