Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Merlin in Alderley Edge to support the General Manager and lead a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll mentor staff, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and uphold brand standards across premium food and drink.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving excellent guest service, leading by example, and developing your team to reach their full potential within a supportive, hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have proven management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills essential.
• Ability to mentor and motivate a team to deliver guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Use management experience to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, acting as Duty Manager when needed.
• Inspire and train the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to create memorable moments that WOW our guests and encourage repeat visits.
