Hungry Horse in Aberford is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the pub when the General Manager is away, and to be hands-on on busy shifts. You will motivate and coach the team, ensuring customers receive great service from arrival to departure.

You'll drive sales, maintain high standards across service, food and drinks, and support with rotas, recruitment, training and team development while fostering community ties.

Competenze

• Hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Customer-focused with strong team coaching.
• Experience in busy pub/restaurant is a plus.

You'll:

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality and knows how to lead people.

You’ll ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast-paced environment.

More importantly, you’ll be:

A natural leader – you know how to bring people with you and aren't afraid to get stuck in.

Customer focused – you care about creating great experiences and understand what makes customers come back.

Commercially minded – you understand that great service and a successful business go hand in hand.

Confident and hands-on – you're comfortable making decisions, managing a busy shift and supporting your team when things get hectic.

Passionate about people – you'll enjoy coaching, developing and recognising your team.

Previous hospitality management experience is great, but we're also interested in people from other fast-paced customer-focused environments who have the right attitude and leadership skills.
