Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Group is recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant in Lancashire with clear study support and hybrid working options. You will manage your own entity within 12 months, supported by an experienced Finance Director, with exposure to FP&A, and a pathway to leadership.

You'll own the management accounting lifecycle, from P&Ls and forecasts to month-end reporting and variance analysis, with mentorship and board-level exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and FP&A.
• Ability to prepare P&Ls, forecasts and month-end reports.
• Commercially minded with attention to detail.
• Willingness to study with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Own the management accounting cycle for your entity, including P&Ls and forecasts.
• Prepare management accounts and variance analyses for monthly reporting.
• Support business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate month-end close and insightful financial commentary.

Step into a role where you manage your own entity within your first 12 months at the company; with full support every step of the way.

You'll work alongside rather than simply "report into" an experienced Finance Director at a cash-rich tech company, giving you guidance and mentorship- with exposure to business partnering and FP&A.

This isn't a theoretical role - you'll get full control of management accounting, from P&Ls and forecasts to management accounts, variance analysis, and month-end reporting.
