Job summary

Paul Card Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in the North East to support monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting. The role offers a stepping stone from transactional finance with scope to improve processes and take on more responsibility.

You may be an existing Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant aiming for more exposure, with strong Excel skills and a good grounding in finance.

Who we're looking for

You may currently be a Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant who's ready for more exposure and responsibility.

You'll ideally have good transactional finance experience, some exposure to month-end and strong Excel skills.

We're equally open to candidates who are AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, and those who have developed their knowledge and accounting experience through their career. What matters is that you have a strong grounding in finance, the ability to take on this next step and the ambition to continue developing.

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, keen to learn and comfortable bringing new ideas to the team.
