Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Group is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the Trafford Park team. You will handle credit control, assist with month-end close, and support management accounts. If you're an Assistant Accountant who wants a role where you can get properly stuck into the numbers, rather than just being another pair of hands, this could be a good one.

It's a smaller business with a straightforward finance structure - an FC, a Purchase Ledger Clerk and you.

You'll work closely with the FC but have plenty of ownership yourself, particularly around credit control, month-end close and supporting with management accounts.

It's a tight month-end schedule to work to so yes, there are deadlines - but there's also a clear process and a team around you so it really is a role where you can come in, do a fantastic job and pretty much leave work at the door until the following day.
