Job summary

We Do Group is recruiting an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a high-growth international business. You will support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, stock and inventory accounting, and cross-functional finance projects, gaining exposure to Logistics, Operations and Customer Services.

You will be studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or keen to begin a professional qualification, with a proactive, analytical mindset and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA or starting a professional qualification.
• Some experience supporting management accounts and month-end.
• Analytical mindset with strong Excel and data skills.
• Experience in product/retail/international business is a plus.
• Interest in stock, inventory, logistics data advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and management accounts.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate anomalies.
• Maintain schedules for prepayments, fixed assets, sales, and commissions.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Gain exposure to stock and inventory accounting.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Operations on costs and data.
• Support accounting for postage, carriers, refunds, chargebacks.
• Develop understanding of data flow into management reporting.
• Use Excel and data tools to improve analysis and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate Finance processes.
• Support year-end, audits, and statutory reporting.
