Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant (Band 3) to join our Finance Team in a full-time, permanent role in Coventry. You will support monthly management accounts, budgeting, variance analysis and financial reporting within the Adult Mental Health services.

Applicants should have a good educational background, ideally with AAT Intermediate level or equivalent, and strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, ideally including AAT Intermediate level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling you to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual who can work effectively under pressure, use their own initiative and contribute positively as part of a wider team.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budget monitoring, variance analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Work closely with budget holders and finance colleagues to ensure financial information is accurate and timely.
• Support delivery of financial management services across Adult Mental Health services within the NHS environment.
