12 Month Temporary Position in Woking seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant.

Client Details

Our client a UK Based Manufacturing business based in Woking specialising in designing and manufacturing high-quality products.

Description

• Assist the Group Management Accountant with preparing the Month End Management Accounts for the UK Manufacturing Base.
• Monthly accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting
• Margin reporting & P&L reviews
• Finance business partnering with operational teams.
• Manage the consolidation of subsidiary entities the division of which will be determined by the Group Management Accountant
• Prepare monthly reporting packs for the subsidiary entities including KPI analysis for management
• Provide variance analysis on key drivers of performance
• Work to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
• Together with the Group Management Accountant regularly review performance with Manufacturing base operational teams & subsidiary entities to understand cost structures and identify areas for margin optimisation.
• Assist on Group Cash flow forecasting, including collation of the information, preparation of the forecast and management analysis.
• Help prepare tax returns, including VAT and other relevant filings ensuring timely submission of UK statutory returns
• Support on audits and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Support on adhoc projects as necessary, for eg. Finance system implementation, improvement of business processes & controls.
• May be working towards their accountancy degree

The successful candidate will be an experienced Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant available on short notice.
