Job description

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team of a leading organisation within London’s market sector. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual with finance experience who is looking to progress towards a professional accounting qualification, with study support provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, journals, and financial analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cashflow reporting, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial data and commentary to support Board reporting and Budget Holders
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and support VAT return preparation
• Assist with year-end accounts, audits, service charge processes, and internal audit requests
• Contribute to improving finance processes and support the effective use of the finance system

About You

• Part-qualified or actively studying toward an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• 1-2 years’ experience in finance or accounting role
• Exposure to property, service charge, or facilities management accounting
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proactive, curious, and willing to learn and take initiative
