• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
• Assist in improving finance processes and reporting.
• Support the wider finance team as required.

We're working with a growing business in Milton Keynes that is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has already developed a good foundation within finance and is now looking for a role where they can broaden their experience, take on greater responsibility and continue progressing towards a professional qualification.

Working closely with the wider finance team, you'll gain exposure across management accounts, month-end reporting and financial analysis, while developing a stronger understanding of the commercial side of the business.

The role will include:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with month-end processes, journals and reconciliations
• Preparing and analysing financial information
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Investigating variances and providing commentary
• Working with stakeholders across the business
• Helping to improve finance processes and reporting
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

About you

You’ll ideally be studying towards ACCA or CIMA, or looking to begin your professional studies, with some previous experience gained within a finance or accounts role.

More importantly, you’ll be ambitious, keen to learn and looking for an opportunity where you can continue developing your management accounting experience.
