Helping SME's Recruit Exceptional Accounting & Finance Staff

Our client is a leading international fashion business with a growing global presence. As they continue their expansion into new markets, they are looking for a talented and driven Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to international finance operations and take ownership of a key area within the business.

This newly created position offers significant growth potential and a chance to make a real impact in an ambitious, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the full finance function of two trading entities, providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Month-End & Reporting

• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and manage the fixed asset register
• Perform stock reconciliations and monitor intercompany balances
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis

Business Partnering

• Work closely with cross-functional business heads to provide financial insights
• Support international teams with budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking

Day-to-Day Finance Operations

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and payroll
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, including Shopify transactions

Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure timely submission and payment of international VAT, quarterly filings, and taxes
• Liaise with local tax and accounting advisors to remain compliant with local regulations

Your Background

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• 4-5 years industry experience, with 2-3 years in a management accounting role
• Experience in international or multi-entity businesses is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Shopify or similar platforms is desirable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
