The company has tasked us with sourcing an Assistant Management Accountant to join their large, friendly and highly experienced finance function. The role is offered as a full time, permanent contract to be based at their Falmouth manufacturing facility.
This will be a broad and interesting opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to enhance their skillset in a well-supported environment that embraces cutting edge digital accounting tools. Working closely alongside the senior management accounting team, the role will focus on the production of high quality management reports (weekly and monthly), budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure detail. The candidate we’re searching for: An ambitious and career focussed Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant seeking a long term career with an employer that offers almost limitless development opportunities. The successful candidate should possess recently gained experience in a similar role, ideally (though not essentially), working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Candidates may be qualified AAT or part professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), and/or have a keen desire to obtain a professional accounting qualification. This is a modern and efficient business that harnesses technology to their advantage so excellent digital accounting and MS Excel skills will be essential. This will be a highly visible role that works both inside and outside of the finance function so excellent communication and team working skills will be pre-requisite.
