Hertfordshire County Council is seeking an Assistant Locality Manager to join Watford Day Services within Adult Care Services. This permanent, part‑time role (22 hours over 3 days) offers a starting salary of £35,570 rising to £38,510 per annum, pro rata for part time, with duties across Hertfordshire day services in Watford.

You will lead the day service team, support the Deputy Locality Manager, ensure quality monitoring and regulatory compliance, and work across Abbots Langley and Watford

• Health and Social Care RQF Level 3 and willing to complete Level 4.
• Supervisory experience in a social care or related setting (e.g., education or health).
• A good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Experience of leading a team or service.

About the role

The Day Service Assistant Locality Manager has day to day operational responsibility for the service and the team to ensure we provide a high-quality day opportunities for the people we support.You will support the Deputy Locality Manager to achieve this, through robust quality monitoring to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, whilst providing hands on supervision and line management support.

You’ll split your days working across our Learning Disability services which have bases in Abbots Langley and Watford.
