Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking an Assistant Local Housing Manager to support the Local Housing Manager in delivering a high quality housing and support service at Matilda Court, Crewe.

The role focuses on tenancy sustainment, resident wellbeing and community engagement, with responsibility for assisting in all aspects of the court life and relationships with residents and neighbours. It is a part-time, customer-facing position with a commitment to accessible housing services.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and numeracy skills.
• Experience of working in the social housing sector, particularly with older people (desirable).
• Knowledge and/or experience of issues faced by older people or other vulnerable groups (Dementia, substance use, mental health) (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support the Local Housing Manager in providing a professional, high quality housing and support service to residents.
• Assist and deputise for the Local Housing Manager in all aspects of court life and relationships with the local community.
• Work with residents to enable independent living, focusing on tenancy sustainment, support and wellbeing.
• Help ensure the building is safe and secure and engage with residents and the local community.
