Coventry University Group invites applications for an Assistant Lecturer (Teaching) in Clinical Nursing Skills. The role is based onsite at Scarborough Campus, Ashburn Road, Off Valley Road, Scarborough, YO11 2JW, and involves teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses.

You will curate teaching materials, deliver modules up to HE levels 7, support assessment quality assurance, and contribute to student success through active learning and simulated practice.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration is essential.
• Honours degree in an appropriate subject with professional qualification.
• Practice Assessor Training completed or willing to undertake.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• A PhD or Master’s degree would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of course teaching materials for HE levels 4–7.
• Teach on modules across HE levels 4–7 in nursing and related areas.
• Support assessment design, implementation, and QA processes.
• Provide formative and summative feedback to students.
• Deliver simulated practice learning activities and act as Academic Assessor.
• Support course recruitment activities including interviews and open days.
• Promote best teaching practices aligned with CU Group reputation.
