As a Lecturer (Teaching) in Learning Disabilities Nursing you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional course and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience.
Based onsite at Coventry University in Coventry, you will work closely with other academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure, as appropriate, relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.
Duties include:
You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education levels 4-7 in Learning Disabilties Nursing either within Higher Education or within the clinical practice environment. You can demonstrate a high standards of teaching, learning and student engagement consistent with our reputation and track record as a high-quality provider of teaching and learning.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience supporting, enhancing and engaging in an 'active learning' pedagogy with evidence in proactively supporting student success.
As a global education provider, experience and awareness of learners cultural differences and expectations with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
