Village Hotels is opening a brand-new Village Hotel Sheffield and seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager who leads from the floor, sets the absolute standard from day zero, and drives a right-first-time culture. Interviews begin soon, with a January start to prepare the department before the first guest checks in.

You will own the floor, drive commercial hustle, and coach a new team to deliver immaculate spaces and exceptional service in a fast-paced opening environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a busy housekeeping department is essential.
• Ability to coach and develop a team of room attendants and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the floor and set the standard through inspections and real-time monitoring.
• Monitor productivity, minutes per room, linen usage, stock pars, and payroll benchmarks.
• Provide hands-on coaching and immediate feedback to Team Leaders and Room Attendants.
