Job summary

Potters Resorts is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at our Hopton-on-Sea resort to support the Executive Housekeeping Manager in leading a team of 40 across 249 rooms.

You will work closely with housekeeping team leaders to manage daily operations, maintain consistent standards and ensure rooms are ready on time, while coaching staff and handling escalations as required. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to develop your career within our resort.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy housekeeping operation or supervisory level.
• Strong planning and communication skills with ability to coordinate staffing and prioritise workloads.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee room inspections against cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage daily workloads and coordinate team leaders on busy changeover days.
• Coach team leaders and address performance or attendance concerns with the Housekeeping Manager.
• Coordinate with maintenance and reception to resolve defects and guest concerns.
• Prepare rotas, check timesheets, and monitor stock and supplies.
